More Mercedes CLS Spy Photos

More 2011 Mercedes CLS Spy Photos Without Body ArmourFresh spy pictures of the next-generation 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS have appeared. As previously seen, a good deal of camouflage is now gone so more of the exterior can be seen. The front end features what seems to be more conventional headlights which don’t quite rise towards the wheel-wells as much as the current car. LED daytime running lights will be an expected feature while the side mirrors are more square-shaped. These feature striped indicator lights like the E-Class and the S-Class facelift.
The back end carries new rear lights with LEDs which extend to the boot lid area and a set of rectangular/ trapezoidal tailpipes.
Mercedes-Benz will launch the all-new CLS next year with a range of engines, including petrol V6s, V8s, turbo diesels and an AMG model kicking out around 386kW (525hp). A BlueHybrid is also set to join the lineup. The drive should go through a 7-speed automatic sending power to the rear wheels.
The 2+2 four-door is probably only going to make a public appearance at the Paris Motor Show in September 2010.

Mercedes C class special edition

Mercedes has thrown a number of extras at the C-class to create a special edition Executive SE model.Based on the manual C180 BlueEfficiency SE, it is offered as both a saloon and estate.
Externally the Executive SE gets the three-pointed star in its grille, usually only seen on the Sport model, new 16-inch alloys and chrome exhaust tips.
Inside the car gets a multimedia system that includes sat nav and voice control, with a multi-function steering wheel.
The Executive SE will cost £574 more than the standard car at £23,190.

More spy pics have emerged of a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti mule, likely for a 612 successor model.
Not much is known about whatever new creation is being tested here but given that that bulge is still on the hood, the model is likely still years away from making it to market, which is why we have it pegged as a 2012 612 Scaglietti.
The bulge suggests the model is still in the early phases of testing, as Ferrari still do not have a body to fit properly to the engine. Previous speculation has Ferrari developing a hybrid system or a new V12 with a new twin-turbo system. Or it could just be Fiat’s MultiAir system temporarily fitted to this mule in order to see how much performance enhancement can be had from that.
Continuing the speculation with these photos, it seems the dimensions of the front end are strangely stretched from the standard 612. The lengthened front end and larger wheel arches, which our spy photographers noticed on the last batch of pics, suggest a coming all-wheel drive system too?
It’s a new Ferrari. That’s what it is.

New Chrysler 300 spied

New Chrysler 300 mule Caught for First TimeThese are the very first spy pictures of the upcoming 2010 Chrysler 300 taken at the company’s Technology Centre in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Underneath this SRT8 mule is the brand new vehicle and it looks as if the current LX platform has not changed much in terms of dimensions.
The car was partly previewed in Chrysler’s viability plan back in February. A couple pictures appeared as part of the plan but their finality was cast in doubt after essential details like side mirrors were noticeably missing.
Nevertheless, the big sedan seemed to shed its pimp image for a more rounded exterior. The front end looked smooth and less butch. Even the interior looked more upmarket with a good combination of wood panels and leather upholstery. Overall it presented a more executive image.
Fuel economy is said to show a 22 percent improvement but no reference model or powertrain was specified. Engines currently on offer are a 2.7-litre, a 3.5-litre, a 5.7-litre and a 6.1-litre HEMI V8. There is also a 3.0-litre turbo diesel.
With the new Fiat/ Chrysler tie-up, speculation puts the RWD 300 platform beneath future Maseratis and Lancias. Utilizing a new V6 engine which is slated to debut in the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Lancia version would replace the Thesis while the Maserati would slot below the Quattroporte.

BMW Z4 M Package Returns

2010 BMW Z4 M Package Returns for Another OutingAnother BMW Z4 with an M Package was spotted by our spies. Previous shots revealed a red model which is now switched with this grey one. It seems most of the kit is concentrated on the front and rear bumpers where the black and white camouflage is pasted. Since BMW is not producing a high-performance Z4 M for the current model the kit is just about as close as fans will get to that halo car. Unfortunately even accompanying engine upgrades are not expected, although the new 326hp, 450Nm M Sport power pack for the 135i and 335i cannot be discounted.
Instead the suspension will be tweaked slightly, larger wheels fitted and M badges posted in key areas, inside and out. The package should be offered across the Z4 range.

Suzuki Sema concepts

Suzuki is bringing a host of vehicles to the SEMA Show being held in Las Vegas next month. Amongst the cars will be four different Suzuki Kizashi models, and a tuned version of the Equator pickup truck.
One of the versions was crafted by Road Race Motorsport. Their Platinium Edition Kizashi has a black roof, custom graphics, new springs, and sway bars. Also present is the Westside Auto Group’s model, the Kizashi Soleil. It features a two-tone paint job, and new fenders, grille, and fascia.
Other companies involved are Delta Tech Engineering, Import Tuner, and ICON Vehicle Dynamics. You can read about each car in the press release below.
