Consumer Reports has gone and paid Chrysler a compliment by saying that the 2011 Durango and Charger are the company’s most-improved models and, on the whole, the automaker’s cars are getting better. CR even awarded both the V6 and V8-powered Dodge Durango a “Very Good” road test score, putting it in contention with the likes of the 2011 Ford Explorer .

Top Gear USA host Rutledge Wood picks up a Buick Roadmaster wagon

He then used the wagon to wind up victorious over the choices of his co-hosts. Now, Rutledge has shown that he truly cares about the LT1-powered five-door, as he just purchased a 1996 example to put in his own driveway.

One of the primary lines of defense inside an automobile is the seatbelt, and GM has fitted some select vehicles with an updated latch system that gives engineers greater control over tensioner tuning. It’s this increased level of control and tunability that has helped a handful of General Motors vehicles retain their five-star crash safety ratings, even as the tests get tougher.

Available on the 2011 Buick Enclave , among other vehicles, the system features anti-lock brakes, traction control, panic brake assist and rollover mitigation to keep the Enclave and other Buicks on four wheels whenever possible.
