Ford reports Vista Roof sales are through the… ceiling

Filed under: SUV , Marketing/Advertising , Crossover , Ford , Earnings/Financials Ford’s Vista Roof option has been selling well recently, and the automaker says this is, in part, to the little shot of Vitamin D it gives to drivers’ everyday commutes. The split glass roof also has UV protection comparable to SPF-50 sunscreen, which should satisfy even the fairest-skinned buyers. So far this year, the Vista Roof option is checked on 48 percent of 2011 Ford Explorer sales, 56 percent of 2011 Ford Edge sales and 32 percent of all 2011 Ford Flex sales.

2011 Ford Flex Titanium The Ecoboosted Ford Flex is a veritable rocket ship. Love this Flex Titanium and its white and black color scheme, especially the black F L E X letters on the leading edge of the hood and the blacked-out, three-bar horizontal grille. I don’t even mind the twenty-inch polished-aluminum wheels, and I’m not usually a fan of such wheels.

Officially Official: Ford Flex gets new top-shelf Titanium model

Filed under: Crossover , Ford , Design/Style 2011 Ford Flex Titanium – Click above for high-res image gallery Earlier this month, Editor Paukert spied a caravan of Ford Flex prototypes sporting new trim pieces that indicated a higher-level trim model is in the works. A source within Ford confirmed that our assumptions were correct, and now the automaker has released the full raft of details about its new model, Flex Titanium, which should hit showrooms later this year. Expect to see more Titanium-badged products making their way down the pipeline, too. This trim level is already well-received in Europe, and we’ll be seeing a Titanium version of the 2012 Focus when it goes on sale next year, as well.
