The video was our most popular post of 2011 , so we know that well over a million viewers saw the ill-advised drag race. We think that video illustrated that racing on public roads was a bad idea, but sometimes, accidents happen even without a race. Exclusive: Nissan fielding driving team of only GT Academy winners for Dubai 24 Hours

While the 410-horsepower Z is an impressive piece of hardware, we’re more interested in who’s behind the wheel. This year, Nissan will take to the track with a full team of racers who have graduated from the company’s GT Academy . The four-man team is made up of individuals who got their start on the virtual tracks of the Gran Turismo video game franchise before beating out the competition for a spot on track.

Spy Shots: Next Nissan Altima loses more camo

Filed under: Spy Photos , Sedan , Etc. , Nissan Our army of spy photographers has managed to grab a few images of the next-generation Nissan Altima cruising around with less body cladding than we’ve seen in the past. The new shots show the 2013 Altima wrapped in swirl vinyl instead of the baggy plastic that surfaced back in August .
