2012 Acura TSX After rolling out a V-6 option in late 2010 and a Sport Wagon variant in 2011, few changes were made for the 2012 TSX. A new special edition package, available on four-cylinder sedans, is now the only way to order the optional six-speed manual transmission. The TSX may be the smallest, least expensive model in Acura’s lineup, but it also offers the most variety. The TSX’s portfolio was expanded with a six-cylinder engine in 2010 and a wagon model in 2011.

Visual changes on the SE include a revised body kit and 17-inch alloys with a polished finish against a dark gray background. Inside, the SE gets black perforated-suede seats with red stitching and highlights. Pricing for the 2012 TSX SE begins at $30,810* with either a five-speed automatic or six-speed manual .

Starting at $23,470 (which includes the $885 destination charge), the base model 2012 Verano is priced to undercut similar offerings from Japan. The Acura TSX , for example, starts out at $30,495, while the Lexus IS 250 will cost you $34,170. Three trims will be offered on the 2012 Verano, with the top tier set to start at $26,850

No, there isn’t any more power on tap, but some styling tweaks do give the TSX a sportier look. A more aggressive front spoiler and rear fascia lend an air of extra sportiness, and compliment the updated side sill. New 17-inch alloy wheels now feature a polished finish with a dark gray background.
