Official: Fisker names former Chrysler chief Tom LaSorda its vice chairman

Henrik Fisker is a visionary designer, but to get his Karma luxury hybrid on the road, he knew he’d need a good management team behind him. So he brought in BMW and Ford native Bernhard Koehler as Chief Operating Officer, General Motors number cruncher Joe DaMour as Chief Financial Officer and former Jaguar marketing chief Richard Beattie as the company’s new Chief Commercial Officer. And now Fisker Automotive has added another name to the roster: Tom LaSorda .

Video: GM CEO Mark Reuss talks about Cadillac ATS

Filed under: Sedan , Videos , Cadillac Thanks to all manner of spy shots , we know that Cadillac is hard at work perfecting its upcoming ATS sedan. The machine, which will slot in below the current CTS in the automaker’s lineup, is rumored to be headed to market with a 2013 model-year designation, and, if that’s the case, it could very well be hitting dealers in the fall of 2012. GM head honcho Mark Reuss recently spent some time behind the wheel of a preproduction ATS sedan, and he brought along a video crew to commemorate the event.

Video: Fifth Gear thrashes Honda CR-Z Mugen

With 200 horsepower from the same 1.5-liter IMA engine and motor combination, 100 pounds less weight and a buffet of aftermarket go-fast, stick-hard and brake-harder goodies, the car looked to be what the CR-Z was supposed to offer from the get-go.

Official: Honda Performance Development CR-Z ready to hit Le Mans

No, we’re not talking about the Acura ARX-02a that competes against Audi and Peugeot in the LMP class. Honda Performance Development is taking its race-prepped CR-Z to the 24 Hours of Le Mans to run exhibition laps before the start of the big show. Currently, the HPD CR-Z serves as pace car for the Speed EuroSeries.

But Mugen is here to highlight the point. After teasing us with some initial details, a rendering and a shot of the engine bay, the pseudo-works Honda tuner has released the first photos of the modified CR-Z it is preparing to unveil at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
