Chrysler has yet to release the official details and images about the 2011 Dodge Charger , but we already have the skinny on the Charger Pursuit , Dodge ‘s work-ready police car set to hit the streets in just a few months. And while only one official image of the Charger cop car has been revealed, a new video gives us a walk-around of Chrysler’s latest pursuit vehicle.

And frankly, this new one looks a lot like that ancient one, but Bentley would have us believe that this is actually a completely new car. Outside, the bodywork gets all kinds of massaging: prominent front fender lines that roll over the headlights and into the more-upright grille, a more pronounced grille treatment that asserts itself into the lower intake, LED running lamps surrounding the main headlight elements, a double-horseshoe rear-end treatment inspired by the Mulsanne and taillights that curl into the rear fenders. Those responsible for some of the most aggressive consumer testing in the industry have awarded the Blue Oval a ‘Very Good’ road test score while the Bowtie was saddled with a mere ‘Good’ rating. The testers went so far as to say that picking the six-pot in the Mustang didn’t take too much away from the car’s fun factor, while doing the same in the Camaro did. That’s no surprise to us

Kia Motors chairman resigns over recalls?
Posted by: | CommentsFiled under: Hirings/Firings/Layoffs , Kia , South Korea Jeong Sung Eun, the vice chairman of Kia Motor Corporation , has reportedly resigned on the heels of a large recall by the automaker. According to Automotive News , Eun stepped down on September 3 after a global recall sent a total of 85,900 Kia vehicles back to the factory due to faulty wiring . In the U.S., around 35,000 Soul and Sorento models were impacted by the fault, which could cause a short that can result in a vehicle fire. The company is also recalling 18,147 Sorento, Borego and Soul models in China for bad circuit boards
