In any case, here we are with the Infiniti M35h and Porsche Panamera S Hybrid . Each one is marketed as both a somewhat greener luxury vehicle and a performance sedan. 2012 Dodge Charger SXT Plus – Four Seasons Introduction America’s bad-boy sedan goes to finishing school The Dodge Charger exists in a class of one. Its attitude, style, and rear-wheel drive distance it from an otherwise bland segment defined by the unexceptional Ford Taurus, Chevy Impala, and Toyota Avalon. As much as we respect the Charger’s swagger, though, we could never get past its less compelling traits — tired six-cylinder engines, sluggish transmissions, and a dour interior.

Filed under: Spy Photos , Videos , Hatchback , Mercedes-Benz , Luxury Last we heard, Mercedes-Benz was planning to bring its new A-Class to North America, a market where the current model has never been sold. But whether it makes the trek or not, there’s little question that the new premium hatchback will be a vital product for Daimler. While the current A-Class hasn’t been a smashing success, the segment has grown into an important one for luxury automakers like Audi with its A3 and BMW with its 1 Series . The new model, however, aims to take a slice of that particular pie once it debuts as anticipated in production form at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in a couple of months from now

Filed under: Budget , Technology , Hatchback , Kia The come-hither 2012 Kia Rio has been bolting off dealer lots for obvious reasons that go beyond its $14,350 price . One of its noteworthy features for the U.S. market, especially for the segment, is stop/start, which Kia calls ISG for Idle, Stop & Go.

Filed under: Aftermarket , Performance , Truck , Ford We normally associate with Roush Performance with the Ford Mustang , as we’ve tested several examples over the year from the race-ready 427R Trak Pak to the current 540 horsepower RS3 . The Michigan tuner is now looking to expand, though, and has recently introduced a new line of performance products aimed at another segment of the Ford product line, the F-150 . The F-150′s new powertrains are the main focus of Roush’s product blitz, with supercharger systems available for both the 5.0-liter and 6.2-liter V8s.
