BMW 5-Series F10 body styling by Prior Design
First previewed back in April, the final version looks quite different than the initial design renderings which took an obvious influence for the BMW M3 and subsequently the BMW M5 which was revealed in July.

Filed under: Sedan , Performance , Videos , BMW , Luxury A German tuning outfit called PP-Performance has put the 2012 BMW M5 on a Maha dyno , and the numbers returned were 444 horsepower at the wheel, 553 at the engine, and a “corrected number” of 574 hp. Max torque came in at 532 pound-feet (721 Newton/meters). Compare those figures to the official numbers of 560 horses and 502 lb-ft.

Report: NHTSA investigating 2003-04 Infiniti M45 over inaccurate fuel readings
Filed under: Sedan , Recalls , Safety , Infiniti The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation concerning Infiniti M45 sedans from the 2003 and 2004 model year. The government organization has reportedly received 43 complaints about inaccurate fuel gauge readings, and in 26 of these cases, the improperly calibrated fuel gauges have led to instances of engine stalling. According to the NHTSA report, “The complaints show an apparent increasing trend, with most received within the past year.” This investigation will encompass approximately 8,100 M45 models.

The US market still has to wait until next year to savour that which is the BMW M5 F10. But in Europe, the all new M5 is hitting the markets and tuning firms are getting their greasy paws on the autobahn scorcher for the first time.
