Spy Shots: 2013 Audi A6-based Allroad spotted… will we get this one?

Our spy photographers spotted a camo-covered Allroad undergoing hot weather testing in Southern Europe, but the up-rated wagon underneath these swirls is an A6 Avant.

Frankfurt: Mercedes-Benz F125! gullwing fuel cell concept leaks ahead of Frankfurt

Filed under: Concept Cars , Frankfurt Motor Show , Coupe , Mercedes-Benz , Design/Style , Electric Omni Auto reports that Mercedes-Benz will debut the F 125! gullwing coupe concept seen here at this week’s Frankfurt Motor Show . According to Omni Auto, the F 125! concept showcases M-B’s design direction for the 2025 CL-Class . It’s unknown if the German automaker intends to make a production CL that’s fueled by hydrogen, but if the German automaker does, then Omni Auto says its likely that the setup featured in the F 125! that will be used. In this case, that means four electric motors cranking out a combined 231 horsepower

Monterey: Lotus unveils Evora GTE Road Car Concept at the Jet Center

Filed under: Concept Cars , Performance , Lotus Yesterday evening at the Monterey Jet Center, Lotus unveiled the Evora GTE Road Car Concept , a tribute to the Evora race car that was created to compete in the GTE race class. The car looks eerily familiar to the Mansory-built Evora shown earlier this year , and the badge on the back of the spoiler is evidence that the Swiss company was involved with this concept. Even so, the car is tastefully done and looks fantastic in person. The Evora GTE Concept isn’t just about looks, though.

Mansory thankfully lets Graham London design their chronograph for them

Just about every exotic automaker does, and now even the aftermarket firms are lining up to do the same. In the case of Mansory – purveyors of so many gaudy mod jobs – the customizers teamed up with Graham London , the same watchmaker that makes custom wristwatches for the Mercedes GP team.

Report: Renault admits wrongful termination in espionage case

Filed under: Europe , Government/Legal , Hirings/Firings/Layoffs , Renault Renault says it wrongfully fired three of its executives, Michael Balthazard, Bertrand Rochette and Matthieu Tenenbaum, on suspicion of industrial espionage. The admission comes after French authorities looked into the company’s dismissal of the men and determined that Renault’s accusations against them were baseless. Now, Renault has the embarrassing task of meeting with the execs and figuring out a way to compensate them for the loss of their jobs and the scrutiny that comes with this kind of accusation. Renault originally claimed that the execs had satellite bank accounts in Switzerland and Lichtenstein where they hid funds for spying.
