(Except for maybe an inverse correlation between wealth and imagination.) So it would stand to reason that every Bugatti should be considered a special edition of one. And that certainly appears to be the case, as the French marque seems to bring out another special edition at every possible opportunity

Report: Turkish private equity firm jumps into Saab buying fray

Filed under: China , Saab , Middle East The next chapter in the Saab opera has a new protagonist called Brightwell Holdings, a Turkish private equity firm. Brightwell is is perhaps the unknown Turkish entity mentioned last year as having an interest in bankrupt Saab, along with India’s Mahindra & Mahindra . A board member at Brightwell said the company will spend two weeks evaluating Saab’s assets and then will make a bid, “there’s no question.” Turkey doesn’t have a national car company, but it does have plenty of automotive manufacturing expertise since Ford , Fiat and Renault have factories there. Nissan has announced pricing for the 2013 model, which starts at $96,820, nearly $7,000 more than the 2012 car. You may remember that the 2008 GT-R started under $70,000 , so the sticker shock of a 38.6 percent price increase in six model years is not insignificant.
